There are several immigrants from Picher, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern that link through marriage in the US to immigrants and their descendants from the Soltau-Walsrode region, spreading across the church books of Dorfmark, Düshorn, Fallingbostel, Soltau, Ostenholz.
Names are DENEKE, HARMS, ZUM BERGE, ORTLEB, DREYER, MICHAELIS ... still working on that batch which again is very complex as with one immigrant 10 more emerge.
You can compare that to just take the small finger and getting the whole hand ... it's like working on several octopuses 😅
